Why Should I Join Facebook?
I have no real good answer for it because until last year I considered it just another social networking site to waste my time. However, after using it for some time, I have been greatly benefited by it.
I am listing a few of my good experience with it (there are bad ones too which I won’t share) :-
- Helped me to get Refund – I tried a IM product and could not cancel after trial (not my fault), so I was charged. I just messaged to the product owner about it and one of the support team replied to me soon.
- Got Affiliate Tips – Getting good affiliate tips from a well known Affiliate Marketer is not easy but Facebook is the place where miracle happens. I just chat with the Affiliate Marketer he gave me some good tips. Its my bad that I haven’t tried it yet.
- Interact with Big Names – On Facebook literally every one is same. You can just ping a Big Name and if they are available they talk to you. I have talked with few.
- Discover Something New – If I were not on Facebook, my Link Building Skills would not have improved.
- And there is always the usual – Making Friends, Having Fun, Sharing Stuffs etc.
I bet you Skipped the bullet points. Because you already are on Facebook. After all, according to Alexa, it is No. 2 site by Traffic. Now you just have only one thing to do now, actually three.
- Befriend me on Facebook. Do tell me you arrived from my blog (using Personal Message) as I do not accept every request.
- Become a Fan of my Blog on Facebook. Yeah! I have a Fan Page too. Just made it two days ago. Looking for people to join in.
- Tell me if you got benefited by being on Facebook. What you usually do on Facebook? Was joining facebook a good decision or a bad one?

I’ve got a fan page for my blog on Facebook, but so far I only have 6 fans. At least it kind of gives me a visual of my blog’s growth instead of just a bunch of numbers.
